Freemed-YiRC: Residential Map Module Help Page

This module allows institutions to keep track of a residents assigned location on a map.

  • Add Map: first prompts for the name of the map (for example Dorm or School) and a button to allow you to upload a picture of the map you want to use.
  • Edit Map: This is where you assign residents. Simply type the name of the resident and click on the map where you'd like them to be placed.
  • View Map: The viewer is a lower access component and only allows staff to view the map but not modify it.

Security Access

  • residentmap_user: allows access to the module but only the viewing portion
  • residentmap_admin: allows full access to the viewer and add/edit portions.

    • Fixed index font issue. The index number graphic size now dynamically resizes based on the number. This fixes the issue where numbers higher than 10 weren't being properly displayed.
    • Updated images to reflect the new requirements.
